2. Dedication—To set apart; to devote All Christians should devote themselves to the Lord. As Christians we are set apart. I Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. II Corinthians 6:17-18 Therefore "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.''

3. We need to dedicate ourselves to the Lord. What are some keys to our dedication? Deny Yourself Be Born Again Crucify The Old Person Depend On The Lord Keep Yourself Pure

4. Pray To God How can you claim to be dedicated to God, when you fail to talk to Him? We can pray for God to help us keep ourselves dedicated to Him. I Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Ephesians 6:18 Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Philippians 4:6 Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

5. Walk In The Light I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Christ has called us “out of darkness into His marvelous light.” God wants to deliver us out of darkness. Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son. I John 1:5 God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. We also are to be light.

6. Matthew 5:14,16 You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. We can’t be light if we don’t walk in it. I John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. Nor can we be dedicated to God if we walk in darkness. We stay dedicated by staying in the light.

7. Confess Your Sins Daily Number 32:23 Be sure your sin will find you out. In this life.At the judgment. If we confess our sins God will forgive us. I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we wait till judgment it will be too late for forgiveness.

8. Meditate Upon The Word Of God You cannot be dedicated to the Lord and refuse to study His word. Psalms 1:1-2 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. I Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we grow in knowledge our dedication will also grow. Our attitude toward the word should be: Study it Learn it Live it

9. Mark 12:29-30 "The first of all the commandments is: `Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.” If we want to be completely dedicated and devoted to the Lord, then we must listen the words of Jesus: Jesus is saying that our love for God should encompass our whole being. When we love God this way dedication will be no problem.
