IT-100 - Overview The IT-100 features a bi-directional RS-232 interface that accepts commands and sends event-driven or state- change commands to third-party applications, for example home automation or HVACS system.

IT-100 – Sample Configuration

IT-100 – Module Overview RED, BLK, YEL, GRN: These terminals are used to connect the IT-100 to the Keybus of the control panel.

IT-100 – Module Overview LED: This LED is used to indicate the current status of the IT-100.

IT-100 – Module Overview DB9: This connection is used to wire the IT-100 to the third-party application. Note: a ‘straight-through’ RS-232 is required for this connection

IT-100 – Additional Wiring Information The IT-100 includes a ferrite. Ensure that it is looped through the keybus (twice) and placed as close to the IT-100 as possible.

IT-100 – Baud Rate Selection Baud Rate Selection: The baud rate of the IT-100 is selectable using a third party applications (default = 9600 baud).
