Cisco Confidential 3 Objectives  Learn what are orchestration enhancements Agenda  Workflow Versioning, Workflow Report Enhancements, Workflow Validations,  Logical Conditions  Unified Import/Export Mechanism for Workflow & Custom Tasks  Misc. ( Email notification about workflow execution status, Support for User inputs to be passed as macros to other User Inputs, Custom Input enhancements - range support, input validators, Support for Workflow Outputs, Categorizing selective Task outputs as WF Outputs).

Enhanced Workflow validations: Wizard based resolver listing all validation errors. Support for procedural Workflow execution: IF_ELSE, LOOP & Conditional Task Versioning & compatibility User Input validation support Email notification about workflow execution status Unified Import/Export for Workflows & Custom Tasks Support for User inputs to be passed as macros to other User Inputs: Primarily used for filtering prior to Workflow execution. Custom Input enhancements: range support, input validators Support for Workflow Outputs. Categorizing selective Task outputs as WF Outputs.

Using Filters with macros provide a context based filtering of values shown prior to Workflow execution. Applicable for Tabular, LOV & Multi-select types.

6 © 2012 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Cisco Confidential 6 Maintains various versions of the same workflow. Versions applicable for all artifacts used within a Workflow. i.e.: Tasks, User Inputs, Mappings etc. User capabilities include - Setting a version as default. - Creating new version. - Auto versioning. - Deleting versions.

7 © 2012 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Cisco Confidential 7 Ability to iterate set of Tasks within the workflow. Iteration based on - Values within a LOV or Tabular type - Specific count (eg: iterate 10 times) Iteration indicated on SR Summary page & Logs. Limitation: Only one LOOP TASK per workflow.

8 © 2012 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Cisco Confidential 8 Ability to specify check for multiple conditions and alter workflow execution. JavaScript based statements could be provided. Nesting of multiple conditional statements also allowed.

9 © 2012 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Cisco Confidential 9 Stripped down Conditional Task which evaluates only one user specified condition. Result of evaluation is condition satisfied (True) or condition not satisfied (False). Ability to change steps of Workflow execution based on any condition. JavaScript based Conditional statement could be provided.

10 © 2012 Cisco and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Cisco Confidential 10 Workflow validations listed according to problems found. Clicking on any Task related problem launches a Wizard based resolver. Wizard would help User to walk through each of the issues within the Task. Typical validation issues include Mapping mismatch, missing mandatory values for Tasks, Task Handler not found, missing admin/task inputs after import or upgrade etc. Validation would execute as periodic System Task, upon launching Workflow designer, manually performing validation & during import time.
