13 State Report 2009-2010 Improvement Areas Both teachers and administrators report that they are not receiving the necessary digital literacy skills to prepare students (or lead the charge) for 21 st Century work. Parents want teachers to use technology tools to improve home-to-school communications, student achievement, and organizational skills. Schools are not keeping pace with current technologies that will be required for success in the 21 st Century.
