15. Short Individual Response on Symbols of Escape  Using your notebooks, write down potential symbols of escape from the play:  This can be done in bullet point form or in full sentences  Do not forget to support your ideas with evidence from the play  Include page numbers

GROUP ACTIVITY  In groups of 3 or 4, discuss your ideas from the short response.  Using the “Symbols of Escape” handout on Haiku, identify different symbols of escape found within the play  Once you have identified these symbols, think about the character(s) that is (are) associated with each symbol.
