Methods of Stress Relief 1. Work off stress with physical exercise 2. Talk out your worries (with a friend or parent) 3. Learn to accept what you cannot change 4. Avoid self medication (alcohol and drugs) 5. Get enough sleep and rest 6. Balance work and recreation – make time for both

Methods of Stress Relief 7. Do something for others 8. Take care of one stress at a time 9. Give in once in awhile 10. Get alone occasionally to be quiet and think 11. Write it down (journal or letters) 12. Do something nice for yourself 13. Eat balanced meals – avoid the junk food
