Point at the center of an object’s weight distribution, where the force of gravity can be considered to act All shapes have a Center of Gravity Located at object’s average position of weight On a baseball – It is at the geometric center On a baseball bat – It is more towards the heavier end

If the center of gravity of an object is above the center of support the object will remain upright If center of gravity extends outside the area of support, the object will topple
