The center of gravity of an object is the point at the center of its weight distribution.

When an object is thrown through the air, its center of gravity follows a smooth parabolic path, even if the object spins or wobbles.

For everyday objects, the center of gravity is the same as the center of mass.

Car Example Cars want a low CG in the middle of the car This is why Porsche puts engines low to the ground in the back & transmission low in the front

Toe Touch Example When touching your toes, your CG hovers between your chest and your feet

Why is the CG of a baseball bat not at its midpoint? The weight is not equally distributed in the center of the bat. The center of gravity would be located farther up the bat where there is more mass.
