3. What kind of church or person becomes involved with a Multi-housing Ministry? Those that are not church minded, but kingdom minded.

5. Jesus said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” Matthew 28:19  The kingdom minded say, “We must go to them.” The church minded say, The church minded say, “If we build it they will come.”

8. Relationship or Friendship Evangelism occurs when Christians build bridges of love and friendship with non-Christians. Every Christian friendship established with an unsaved person is valuable.

9. Let’s take a trip... What keeps churches and Christians from getting involved in the great commission?

The way of service is the main road; the rest stops are for our temporary refreshment. The problem is when we get sidetracked by a preoccupation with our own self- enrichment. We lose all sense of direction. We get stuck in the rest stop, off the main road and our journey stops.

11. 6 Rest Stops or Cycles There are six rest stops in which you can park yourself. Are you stuck in one of those cycles, neglecting to be in service to God?

12. 1. The Study Cycle Spends endless hours in personal study, using books and tapes... to the neglect of serving others.

13. 2. The Fellowship Cycle Is so obsessed with the welfare and growth of your “group”... to the neglect of serving others.

14. 3. The Worship Cycle Going far and wide to hear each new speaker and be at every conference, to the neglect of serving others.

15. 4. The Prayer Cycle Always praying, alone and with groups,... but never available to serve.

16. 5. The Confession Cycle Spiritual “pulse takers”, always checking themselves, “hung up” on introspection, too much false guilt to believe God would use them to bless others.

17. 6. The Personal Development Cycle Sees all as a glorified “self-improvement course”, so busy concentrating on eating properly, physical exercise, personal grooming, expanding the mind, keeping up with trends, news, recreation, etc., has no time for service to others.

Billy Graham writes in Unto the Hills… “God will sometimes allow us a view from the hills, but only so that we might be refreshed enough to return to the valley - where the action is - that we might be of service to Him… If we spent all of our time in the hills and on mountaintops, how would we effectively serve God?”

19. Jesus is the ultimate example of service... Jesus said, “Whoever will be great among you, let him be your minister… Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:26,28
