Electronics engineering MICHAEL ORTIZ 8 TH PERIOD

What this discipline’s main focus is:  Electronics engineering’s NOT electrical engineering exactly.  It uses electrical components to build separate products like circuits and devices like phones or computers.  Electrical engineering is the discipline involving electricity such as electricity that is in power grids

The job description:  Usually you work on a team of designers because the actually building is done by machines.  There are research and development teams for mobile phones, nanotechnology, acoustics, medical instruments, and many other products.  On an average day you mainly just work on improving things that already exist or work on projects that the company you work for assigns you.

Required training You usually need a bachelors degree in the electronics engineering field firstly. Some jobs may require more or less for you to be hired. You also may be hired quicker if you have interned in the electronics engineering field.

Skills and Characteristics of an Electronics Engineer  Mathematical experience  Electrical safe working practices  Electrical circuit engineering principles  Fault finding techniques  Prevention of electrostatic damage  First aid  Patience

Typical wages The average electronics engineer can make $60,000 to $90,000 a year but a higher level engineer may make upwards of $120,000 yearly.

Electronics engineering job outlook  Employment of electrical and electronics engineering is projected to show little or no change from 2015 to 2022. These technicians work in manufacturing industries, many of which are declining or growing slowly.

The professional association/associations  The largest professional association involving electronics engineering is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers otherwise known as IEEE  It’s core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.  IEEE was founded in 1884 and is currently the worlds largest technical professional association in the world.
