Assignment  You may work groups of 3-4  You will research an organization that is actively working within your community.  You and your partners will create a tri-fold poster which will include:  The name of your organization.  What is the organization's mission statement is.  What is the primary purpose of the organization is.  What are they actively doing within the community?  What are somethings that you find interesting about the organization?  How might others get involved?  The organizations contact information.  Where are they located?  Why did you choose this organization?  Want to get more involved?  Get involved with one of the community outreach programs, participate, volunteer
