Your assignment: Create a parody of a famous painting!

Step ONE Find a picture of your original famous painting. Read a little about the artist’s technique in painting. If you want to see examples of art parody, you can google either art parody or art spoof.

Step TWO Make associations, to find ideas that interest you, like: – Pop culture – Your interests – Your pets – Your family – Your town

You have options to consider: Will you just change the “character” in the painting? Will you just change the background?

Step THREE Show a picture of the original painting you choose to Mrs. Yuzik * You can sign out a library book, or if you can print in colour at home, you can bring a picture TOMORROW from home. Make a sketch first Paint until complete
