My Home I live in Kansas City with a 1- bedroom apartment. Rent is $965 a month Amenities include a parking spot and a fitness center. I pay $25 a month for Renter’s Insurance.

My Car My car is a 2007 Ford Focus. It is $9,998, which is $166.63 a month My car insurance is $163 per month. Gas is about $279.20 a month. I picked it because it is a good age, and it suits my needs as far as a smaller car, but that can hold a good number of passengers.

Bills Utilities is $125 a month. My cell phone bill is about $35. My internet and TV bundle costs me $47.94, and it includes TV, Internet, and Netflix.

Practical Bills College Loans are $267.17 per month. I spend $100 on groceries. My health and life insurance total is $216.50 a month. I’m in the 25% tax bracket, so $1,035.42 goes to Uncle Sam every month. I will give $414.17 to the church.

Safety Net I have $150 for emergencies. $100 will be saved for Entertainment. I will save $51.63. I will use this money to make repairs on my car or go out with my friends.
