1 Today’s Goal: Identify the course goals and their significance to you Today is: monday, sept. 28, 2015 – Super Mario Monday! 1.Please come in and get out your Cinematic Techniques Cornell Notes, Film Analysis Notes from Friday, and a writing utensil. 2.We’ll continue watching and analyzing The Crucible today. 3.Take the first couple minutes of class to share information you collected on your chart Friday with the rest of your group. Make sure everyone copies it down on their charts! Today’s Goal: To learn about the writing style of the Puritan culture in early American writing Due today: Day #1 SEE Set Fun fact of the day: If one places a tiny amount of liquor on a scorpion, it will instantly go mad and sting itself to death. Out of Class: Finish Day #2 SEE Set

Today’s Goal: To learn about the writing style of the Puritan culture in early American writing Due today: Day #2 SEE Set Fun fact of the day: It is illegal to hunt camels in the state of Arizona. Out of Class: 1.Finished Outline due Friday!

3 Spoken words and gossip are mostly harmless. Standing up for what you believe in or what is right is more important than anything—even your life. There are times in life when you should lie. Truth and justice always prevail. Publicly identifying and labelling a person or group of people as a threat tends to protect society. Confessing to a crime you didn’t commit in order to avoid punishment is wise. A person is innocent until proven guilty. The difference between right and wrong is clear. Wednesday! 1.Please come in and get out a half piece of loose leaf paper and a writing utensil. Today’s Goal: To learn about the writing style of the Puritan culture in early American writing Due today: None! Fun fact of the day: The human tongue tastes bitter things with the taste buds toward the back. Salty and pungent flavors are tasted in the middle of the tongue, and sweet flavors at the tip! Out of Class: 1. Finished Outline due Friday!

5 After you’re finished with your quiz… 1.Turn in loose leaf answer sheet to your hour’s bin and make a pile of your quiz and folder to the appropriate piles. 2.Grab a questionnaire and take it to your desk to fill out. 3.Turn in your questionnaire to Ms. Neff’s desk. 4.Work on your Film Analysis Outline

You will have all of class today to work on finishing it. It is due tomorrow. Today’s Goal: To learn about the writing style of the Puritan culture in early American writing Due today: None! Fun fact of the day: Butterflies taste with their hind feet. Out of Class: 1.Finished Outline due TOMORROW!

Make sure your name is on them, staple them, and turn them in to your bin. 2.Then, get out your Composition Notebook and open to the next available page. Today’s Goal: To learn about the writing style of the Puritan culture in early American writing Due today: Film Analysis Outline Fun fact of the day: Only female mosquito’s’ bite and most are attracted to the color blue twice as much as to any other color.
