Introduction Global : ccTLD Secretariat has initiated the ccTLD Name Server Training Program (Bucharest, June 2002) : Setup the Steering, Technical, Organizing Committees Regional in Asia-Pacific : AP Outreach has been cooperated with the ccTLD Secretariat for the ccTLD Name Server Training in Asia- Pacific region.

Objectives and Goal Objectives : - To outreach (training and educate) ccTLDs to operate their name server in efficient and stable manner - To bring ccTLDs up to date on current technology and issues related to them both technically and administratively. Goal : to achieve the stable ccTLD name server system world wide as well as in Asia Pacific area

Future Schedules (until March 2003) Oct 2002: Finalized the ccTLD Name Server Training Proposal and Schedules 1-2/year (Global), 0-2/year (Each Region) Trainings Regional (Asia Pacific) : Bangkok, Jan 2003 (Introductory) Target audience: Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, etc. Global and Regional (Latin) : Brazil, Mar 2003 (Advance Level) with ccTLD/ICANN meeting
