Math is the language of science because: Nature can be analyzed, modeled, and described mathematically. Math is unambiguous. Mathematical equations are easier to prove or disprove.

5 Scientific Method Is a method of gaining, organizing, and applying new knowledge.

6 Steps of the Scientific Method
Identify the problem Make your educated hypothesis Predict the consequences Test predictions via experimentation Formulate the simplest general rule that organizes the hypothesis, the prediction, and the experimental outcome.

7 Hypotheses Are educated theories. They must be testable.

8 Science vs. Technology Science deals with theoretical problems.
Technology deals with practical or actual problems.
