The majority of young people have been bullied: 63% of young people have been bullied at some point during their years at school. 91% of young people who have been bullied have been prior to year 8.

Traditional bullying still dominates. Cyberbullying is rising. Of those who have been bullied: 81% have been verbally bullied 38% have been physically bullied 33% have been cyberbullied (via social networking websites such as Facebook, IM, or by text message).

Who do they tell? 38% tell parents 36% tell peers 27% tell the school (teachers or counsellors) Nearly 3 in 10 students (27%) reported that they did not tell anyone about the bullying.
