History  Door Gaskets and Automatic Door Closers are included in EnergySmart Grocer Program; Strip Curtains are not.  40% of California’s Program.  So far, over 4 miles of door gaskets have been installed in BPA’s Program.  The Program claims 0 energy savings – anticipating results from more detailed M&V.

3. History (cont)  RTF Subcommittee recommended lab testing in lieu of field testing to minimize the number of uncontrolled variables.  After months of searching, one laboratory (Emerson Technologies) was found that could and would perform the desired testing.  Emerson was contracted to conduct a literature search on door gasket energy savings and finalize testing plans (Phase 1).
