Together we work toward a world where mutually beneficial relationships exist between producers and purchasers

A full-service grocery store Collectively started, owned, and run by its member- owners Emphasis on local foods and products Conventional products will be available also Examples of local co-ops: REI, Kitsap Credit Union, PCC, Port Townsend Food Co-op

Know where your food comes from Invest & own a local business; Members share in profits through patronage dividends Democratic Organization: you have a voice in how the store is run, what products are sold, and where money is spent Can shop at other co-ops (Port Townsend, Skagit Valley, Tacoma, Olympia)

Kitsap Community Food Co-op What can YOU do to help us open? Network within your friends Host socials (Soup swap, dinner party, use this as a guide to talk about the co-op) Attend our monthly events, bring a friend Give the gift of a co-op membership
