childhood years teen years adult years Why read these stories? What’s the point? In your journals, take about five minutes to jot down a few reasons why you think it is beneficial to read stories other people have written about people going though the different stages of life. We will share our ideas with each other when you are done.

When were little, what were the things that interested you? BRAINSTORM… What were the things that occupied your thoughts? BRAINSTORM… What were the things that you found difficult or challenging? BRAINSTORM… love? security? toys? fun? parents? siblings? right/wrong? good/bad? friends? starting school? childhood years

1.In your journals, take about ten minutes to write a paragraph about what it was like for you when you were a kid. Write about the good things, but don’t forget to write about some of the things that were difficult too. 2.We’ll share some of our paragraphs with each other when you are done.
