Look at long-term (3-5 years) and short-term goals (1-2 years) –Long term goals –Adjust Slovenian STEM competition rules to international standards; –Incorporate more hands-on approaches into K-12 curricula through STEM competitions –Put more emphasis on scientific method in high schools –Set up a national pool of mentors ready to guide students in science fair projects –Short term goals –Launch the nationwide science fair to serve as feeder for Intel ISEF (first year only Computer Science (CS), in the following years to expand in other STEM categories) –Affiliate that fair with Intel –Set up a SRC for the fair 2
