Aims Understand that there are different kind of learners. How we use concepts to construct meaning.

What do learner’s do when they construct meaning/develop understanding? What helps learner’s construct meaning? What hinders learners as they construct meaning?

View the role of WSL through 2 Key concepts below: – Form: What is it like? – Function: How does it work? – Causation: Why is it like it is? – Change: How is it changing? – Connection: How is it connected to other things? – Perspective: What are the points of view? – Responsibility: What is our responsibility? – Reflection: How do we know?

Share the various connections you made. Create a visual/poem/graphic organizer etc. to represent an Ideal WSL.

Action Plan Revisit your personal SCOT analysis and identify what concept you can use to set personal goals for yourself to take you closer to being an Ideal WSL.
