3. 2 My Day in my melting-pot team Hello My Name is Abdoulaye Sonko (sounds exotic doesn’t it?) I work in the Montpellier Cash Collection team in the south of France. Hmmm now how does my typical day start… My team embodies the GLOCAL Identity we are a team of multi-cultural multi-faceted and talented individuals and if you walk into our space you would think you have been beamed into a language school 1.We speak French which is normal and the international language ( but don’t tell my manager that LOL) 2.German 3.English 4.Spanish or (Tequila as he is known) 5.Italian 6.Swedish Tek Tek hey 7.Finish 8.And at one time we even had Danish speakers in our team Manage the collections of 17 subsidiaries

4. 3 NEGOTIATING Manage the collections of 17 subsidiaries having fun But most times it seems like we come to work with baseball Bats and sometimes water pistols Sometimes when we’re negotiating, I’ll say I have to get a manager involved

6. 5 Enjoyment There is never a slow time in our activities and we get to experience aspects of the local countries we work with. Our interaction is both with internal clients Sales, Customer Services, OPS, Local Finance, Corporate Finance and External clients who see us as the devils since we are always saying WHERE IS MY MONEY. No day is the same and we can either be the dream team or the drama team Like us or not, we’re a vital part of keeping the cash flow going in the Company.
