6.  What it is like there?  Place describes characteristics of a location that makes it unique or different  Defined by physical features (landforms, plants, animals, and weather patterns)  Describe citizens and language they speak  Ex-Is it cold? Are there mountains there? Jungle or desert? City or Country? Place
