Name a monotheistic religion. 8.What is polytheistic? Name a polytheistic religion. 9.What does representative democracy mean? 10.What type of economy is dependent on the market?

2 Create a Culture!!! Explain your picture and symbols on the lines below and illustrate your civilian on the other side. 1. Background: draw what buildings look like for your civilian. 2. One hand: draw an object that represents your type of government. 3. Other hand: draw an object that represents your type of economy. 4. Head: draw something on or around the head that represents an innovation or invention. 5. Next to civilian: draw something that depicts a popular leisure time activity (sport, hobby, talent) represents religious beliefs. 7. 9 Growth of Urban Areas Today, much of the population of the world lives in cities. Cities are often the birthplace of innovation and change within a society.

12 Urbanization: the dramatic rise in the number of cities and the changes in lifestyle that result. Why have cities grown over the past 2 centuries? People looking for work!!

14 What is Culture? Culture: –The knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors shared by and passed on by the members of a specific group. What do the following have in common? We SHARE and BORROW from ALL cultures around the world!
