21 ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INCIDENTS The above chart includes all incidents logged on Sentinel to date, this year. We have experienced a regular rise in reported incidents over the last 3 months. This could, in part, be as a result of increased use of Sentinel following the training of 15 new users over the same period.
22
22 ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INCIDENTS Beat 11 (University Beat) has seen a steady rise in incident reporting over the last 3 months, which has resulted in some targeted action in the area. Incident reporting currently indicates that the vast majority of complaints are student related. Beat 18 (town Centre) has also seen a steady rise in incident reporting over the last 3 months, experiencing quite a sharp increase, in November. It is not clear at this time why this should be and further analytical work will be carried out.
23
23 ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INCIDENTS Incidents logged on sentinel for Syston LPU, remains low by comparison with Loughborough LPU. Statistics don’t indicate any emerging issues with figures remaining fairly static across the beats.
24
24 ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR INCIDENTS Other interventions implemented in response to complaints, include: Multi-agency visits, Mediation and referrals to support services. A total of 369 complaints were logged on sentinel during these 3 months. Of the 369 complaints, a total of 111 formal ASB interventions were implemented.
