2 Analysis of diet and exercise  Obj 1: students will be able to utilize the supertracker program provided by the USDA  Obj 2: Students will enter their food and exercise into the program and analyze their diet  Obj 3: Students will describe changes they want to make in their diet and why it’s important to make those changes

3 1 st : Create/enter your profile Located in blue on the top right of the screen. Fill in all 3 steps and click submit at the bottom when finished.

4 2 nd : Click on Food Tracker Put in the correct date for your diet and exercise Type in the food item that you ate and check off the appropriate box for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks Once this is done, go to the next slide

5 3 rd : Physical Activity Planner Type in the physical activity you did Enter the day to performed the activity Enter the amount of time your worked out for

6 4 th : Click on My Reports Click on Nutrients Enter the date range for your diet to be analyzed. Then click create report. ANALYZE EVERY NUTRIENT ON THIS PAGE 1 st : Circle the nutrients you are either high or low in 2 nd : Write what changes you need to make in your diet (foods you want to add or subtract) and why it’s important to make the change. RUBRIC 25 PTS: COMPLETED 2 WEEK DIET LOG 25 PTS: PRINT OUT OF LOGS; DIET AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY (EXERCISE) 25 PTS: COMPLETE 2 WEEK DAILY EXERCISE LOG 25 PTS: WHY IT’S IMPORTANT TO MAKE THE CHANGE; 1 page typed, dble space, 12 font.
