Ecotourism is a responsible way of travelling, ensuring, supporting the natural and cultrural heritage and the wellbeing of local inhabitants. One of the expressions of sustainable tourism is the use of ecosigns In Estonia, the following ecosign systems are at work: Roheline Võti / Green Key EHE PAN Parks Ecosigns and sustainable tourism

Green Key is the international ecosign in economic enterprise. EHE is the quality mark for ecotourism, marking the natural and cultural tourism products. PAN Parks is used to mark the European national parks and tourism enterprises tourism associations. Ecotourism

The cornflower is an Estonian quality mark aimed at Estonian accomodation houses. The cornflower is given out in sets of two or three depending on the quality and the decision of the commission after a regular check up. Cornflower – a sign of a qualified accomodation.
