Choice#1Forest firefighter I would like to be able to help people I have always been fascinated by fire I would to help save our forests

Physical training Stretching lifting and pulling Exerting yourself for a long period of time Using lower and upper back at the same time Working abdominals

Work conditions You will have irregular work hours Shifts can be 12 on 12 off Over night traveling may occur Weekend work may occur

In California the average annual wage is $53,930 In the U.S. it is lower with an average of $38,280 They make anywhere from $15.00 to $35.00 an hour

Education requirements You need to go to high school then you must have on the job training Possible courses beyond high school is forest technology, fire science/fire fighting

Choice#2Fire investigator They find out how a fire started They look at explosives and investigate
