Dependencies / Linking of Projects Creation of Controlled Vocabulary and Codes for Integrative Query System Issues: A. NCIT incomplete in anatomy and pathology nomenclature for mouse and human. Examples: 1. No codes for IHC Staining Methods for Breast Cancer 2. No codes for mouse transplantation 3. Limited, outdated codes for mouse mammary tumors 3. No codes for specific GEM models (use MGI codes?) 4. Confusion in anatomic designations of breast vs mammary B. DICOM Identifiers 1. Using UCD Accession Number-Animal number? 2. Human? Solutions: Working with EVS team to resolve issues. 1. New codes for IHC Methods in place 2, List of mouse transplantation terms provided EVS 3. NEXT: Codes for Mouse Mammary Tumors. Discussion with Drs. Clunie and Prior. Pending Resolution Issue: How granular should we get? 3 UC Davis team to provide input on markup and annotations for animal images UC Davis team = user acceptance testing during development
