1. Football Tournament or Concert Tour Module 10B

2. Recap from last lesson. Students have been preparing either a concert tour or a football tournament, travelling around the world. This work was started on Thursday 17 September and is available on Moodle for students to continue working on. Round robin – select students who can advise you on what event they are planning for either the concert tour or the football tournament and why? The following slides go over the work the students should be completing.

3. Where will your events take place? First you need to decide whether you are going to organise a football tournament or concert. Using your world map plan where you would hold your concert or football tournament. See an example on the next slide. To help you identify the countries please use your planners to help you decide where your football tournament or concert is going to be held. You need to chose at least 5 different countries across the world where your events will take place.

5. Begin planning Once you have chosen your event - either a football tournament or concert, you must begin planning. Using the appropriate worksheet on Moodle begin working through the tasks. Make sure that you save the document to your work area and keep saving throughout the lesson to ensure that work doesn’t go missing. If you are unsure please make sure you ask for help.
