2. Location  Lapedo Child was found in Lagar Velho, which is in Lapedo Valley, Portugal. This is very close to Leiria.

3. Features  Lapedo Valley is formed by walls of limestone, with the Caranguejeira River at the bottom. It is very rocky, and has lots of hills. The Atlantic Ocean is to the west, and the closest mountain range is the Serra da Estrela.
