Sentences with Verbs Common Sentence Structure: Subject + Verb + Object. Example: I WANT MONEY. I want money. GIRL SEES HER FRIEND. The girl sees her friend.

Topicalization Structure Commonly known as Topic-Comment Object + Subject + Verb Example: MONEY, I WANT. I want money. HER FRIEND, GIRL SEES. The girl sees her friend.

Pronoun and Nouns Pronouns used with nouns and can function like the English word, the. Example: MAN HE MY FATHER. The man is my father.

Adjectives and Nouns Adjectives appear either before or after the noun. Example: I WANT BLUE CAR. I WANT CAR BLUE. I want a blue car.

Descriptive Adjectives These are known as classifiers. They are used to represent size and shape of an object.

CL:F Small, flat, round object

CL:`L``L` Flat and round objects – small and large.

CL:C Container-like object – small, one handed.

CL:CC Container-like object – small and large, use two hands.

CL:BB Objects with a flat surface – short and long.

Finish It is used to show that an action has been complete. Appears before or after the verb. Example: I FINISH SEE MOVIE. I saw the movie. I READ FINISH BOOK. I read the book.

Establishing the Tense Context Once the context is established through the use of a tense indicator, it is not necessary to repeat the tense indicator in later sentences until a change in tense is desired. LAST-WEEK….. IN-TWO-MONTHS…. DURING THANSGIVING VACATION…
