In conclusion we can agree that yes, the Nazis did kill a lot of soviet with the tally reaching 8 million but overall only being 21.1% of their entire forces, the Nazis also did invade when Russia were not fully prepared and Stalin going in to hiding, consequently coving a lot of ground in the first week. So, ‘how far do I agree with the statement’, myself personally would claim that casualty death rate was not biggest impact on the USSR, the main impact was the damage to the infrastructure, the shear destruction of society, economy and national psyche by far outweighs 8 out 34 million casualties. It will have taken many more years to replenish the infrastructure than replace said 8 million. With the whole modernization project of the 1930s having to be begun again almost from scratch. Why do many people chose to get married?
