Updates: ERN – Term 1 2008 What is ERN? Enrolment and Registration Number. Enrolment and Registration Number. Enrolment processes will be improved through the introduction of ERN (Enrolment and Registration Number). ERN is part of the project to ensure a consistent and state- wide information system. ERN will replace the current enrolment procedure used in OASIS to enable the generation of a student registration number. Unlike the OASIS system this registration number is transferable across NSW and retained throughout the life of a student’s education within NSW schools and TAFE.
