How is everything in England? And how is the weather with you these days? Hallo and Greetings from Gunjur Lower Basic School

The dry season is here now and it has been nearly a month since it rained It has also been unusually hot but it starts to get colder as we move into winter – may be 30 degrees at midday but only 18 degrees at night.

And these are Gambian oranges. Can you see they are green? Many fruits are now in season. We are buying some bananas to eat

Hallo and Greetings from xxxx Lower Basic School How is everything in England? And How is everybody at xxxx Primary school What fruits and vegetables can you see? There are green oranges which grow in Gambia and “orange” oranges from Senegal. There are bananas, pineapples, tomatoes, green cucumbers and fat white cucumbers, onions, potatoes, cabbages, gourds, water melons, red and green apples, sweet chaff and green lemons.

The bananas taste delicious. We wish we could send you some. I have peeled the oranges and squeezed the juice into a glass. It tastes good.

We will celebrate Christmas here too and we are making some paper chains to take to school to decorate our classrooms. We know it will be Christmas for you soon.

We are colouring them in and we are going to post them to you. We hope you get them. And at school we have been making Christmas cards to send to you
