What is Beer Made Of? Water – Beer is between 90-97% water depending on the style! Malted Barley – What does “malted” mean? – Examples of different malt styles Hops – Bittering Hops (IBU’s) – Aroma/Flavor Hops

What is Beer Made Of? Yeast – Ale – Lager During fermentation all brewing yeast produce over 200 different flavor active compounds. The proportions of these individual flavors is what gives each strain its own unique flavor profile.
