1 Bell Work: Pick up textbook from the bookshelf Agenda: Find a partner and sit by him/her Write a fairy tale (refer to informational handout for specific requirements and guidelines) You will perform your fairy tale next class period, so come prepared!

2 Bell Work: Sit in groups of 6 (3 pairs) Agenda: Share Fairy Tale with group Refer to the taped paper on your desk to answer the given questions for each fairy tale presented within your group (up to 3 fairy tales per group including yours) Is the story setting described in detail? Are the main characters clearly described? Do they develop throughout the story? Do their actions and motivations help the audience better understand them? Is the theme supported by details and symbols? Does the plot or conflict progress logically? Is it resolved at the end? Does it allow the audience to figure out the “lesson” or “moral” of the fairy tale?
