The WCO Council adopted the revised Kyoto Convention in June 1999 as the blueprint for modern and efficient Customs procedures in the 21st century. Currently 100 Contracting Parties

Time Release Study Guide SAFE Framework of Standards Single Window Compendium Data Model Globally Networked Customs RKC The WCO has developed numerous instruments and tools, to respond to the demands and needs from the WCO Members to assist their implementation of the WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation. We have around 40 various tools and guidance available for Members to adopt in their customs reform and modernizations. The WCO I continuing to set and develop and fine-tune an inter-active guidance tool designed to assist Customs implement the TFA Risk Management Compendium Post Clearance Audit Guidelines CBM Compendium Project Map Database Capacity Building Development Compendium Transit Handbook

6 Recent WCO Developed Tool
A WCO Guidance is under developed aiming to help its Members to be actively involved and play key role in the trade facilitation body Survey on the current situation of WCO Member administrations Coordination with other parties both from government and private.

7 Example of WCO Tools Support the Implementation of TFA
Example – Risk Management The TFA obliges Members, to the extent possible, to adopt or maintain a risk management system for Customs control. The RKC sets out principles of Customs risk management and the RKC Guidelines cover technical aspects of risk management and Customs control. The Risk Management Compendium introduces detailed and technical information on risk management, based on practices and experiences of WCO Members.
