7. Rules and Expectations For a pilgrim to register they must pay at least R5,000 (non-refundable) by December 15 TH 2014 The bank account is the same, but will be sent out via email. Ref WYD2016+ Name All pilgrims who would like to de-register must find a replacement for themselves All pilgrims must attend 80% of the encounters All pilgrims must attend all camps or retreats as planned, compulsory retreat/camp early 2016 All pilgrims must have a reference letter from their parish priest All pilgrims must be above 16 years of age Registration will begin in March 2014 – Please capture your name as it appears on your passport (No nicknames, clan names, etc) All pilgrims must have their yellow fever certificate, if there have visited an area in the last 10 years where it was required All pilgrims will require a Schengen VISA ( this process will be managed by the committee) All pilgrims will sign a code of conduct that they must abide by All documents shall be required in order for registration to occur – Valid passport till December 2016 – Valid permit (for non-SA nationals) – All pilgrims under 18 shall require Signed guardianship form Unabridged birth certificate Certified copies of parents ID documents Confirmation of school attendance or work
