2. Richard Rodgers June 28, 1902-Dec. 30, 1979 Columbia University & the Julliard School Collaborated with Lorenz Hart at the age of 16 on tunes such as “I’ll Take Manhattan,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered.” Rodgers & Hart wrote music and lyrics for 26 musicals.
