2 Current Range of BPA Groups Regional Special Interest Focus/Working Strategic/Stakeholder

3 Regional Structure 8 Groups Covering England North West, North East, Eastern, Midlands, London, South East Southern, South West Scotland and Wales have active country groups Northern Ireland currently dormant with plans to reactivate

4 Regional Structure Open to members from all sectors Diverse agendas Attract sustained attendance – average of 40 Opportunity to network and discuss issues of local and national importance

5 Regional Structure – Country Groups Wales and Scotland recognised as country groups Strong links with devolved governments Serve as Special Interest Groups for members in these countries

6 Special Interest Groups Focus on issues for specific sectors Strategic objectives Enable development of work streams National coverage for issues relevant to whole of UK

7 Special Interest Groups – Current Sectors Local Authorities (LASIG) Bailiffs and Enforcement (BESIG) Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers (EMS SIG) Structures and Asset Management (SAMSIG) Higher Education Parking (HEPSIG) Healthcare Parking (HPSIG)

8 Special Interest Groups Meet up to 3 times per year National meetings Often attended by government and key stakeholders Lead voice on sector relevant issues making them recognised lobbying and consultation groups Opportunity for better cross sector communications through joint meetings

9 Regional Support Teams – The Concept Each group will have a dedicated team comprising the Chair of the Group, a Council member, a Staff Member and a Development Manager The team will confer with each other over how the agenda will work, monitor the attendance and be present at meetings to meet, greet, answer queries and receive feedback from members.

10 Support Teams – Communication BPA Council Assigned Council Member Support Team Group/Members Communications Team

11 Regional Support Teams – Benefits Supports the Chair and group Officers Members attending the region have the consistency of known BPA representatives at the meeting and in between Enables the Council member to be more accountable for members views across the country. This team approach also assists the DMs as they move into their roles as regional BPA ambassadors.

13 How Can I Make the Most of my Support Team? Get to know your team members Raise any questions or concerns with your team Pass on suggestions or requests for membership services Take the opportunity to ensure your views are heard by BPA Council It’s your Association – use your team to ensure it delivers what you want
