2 Pre-Season Competitive Process Parity Divisions based on skill – RPI Ranking based on relative scores using proven CSHL software & process –Pre-season 4 game tournament to gage strength - Allow petitions to move up or down CSHL experience –1 st & 2 nd year – 12.4%, granted 50% –3 rd year – 7.5%, granted 50% –Adopt CSHL Petition Method Regain teams lost over the past 3 years KIDS WILL HAVE MORE FUN!!!

4 Scrimmage Rules Keep the Games Moving! 2 Minute warm-up No time outs No icing No line changes at whistles except for goals 24 Minutes running time Check from behind – expulsion from current game Three penalties – expulsion from current game For penalties player is removed from ice and replaced with another player. There will be no power plays. Coaches – we recommend equal ice time for the evaluation process There will be two observers for every game from the competition committee Double rostered players must play with their lower level/age appropriate team.

5 Scrimmage Cost Assumptions: 30 Minute games $180/hr rate Ice cuts every 1.5 hours Officials in 1.5 hour increments Mite division costs will be reduced to $100.00 Mite teams will only be required to pay the $100.00 at time of registration. This is to encouraged more mite teams to participate in the pre-season evaluation process.

6 BTHL FEE ANALYSIS 2006-2007 Year End Tournament: Full Consolation Bracket Fees: Squirt-Bantam $600, Midgets $650 Proposal: Approved at Annual Meeting 2007-2008 Year End Tournament: 2 Game Guarantee Fees: Squirt-Bantam $530, Midgets $580 Pre-season Scrimmage: Squirt-Bantam $250, Midgets $275 Total: Squirt-Bantam: $780, Midgets: $855 Mites fees to be determined.

7 Registration Fees Post Pre-season Schedule Preliminary Roster Team Registration League Fees due Coaches to rate their team Play Games Scrimmage Day: 9/15 or 9/16 4 - 30 minute games played in one day. Cincinnati, NKY, Dayton, Butler Cty. Complete roster required. Players sign-in Observe games, record scores and game notes.
