3. Objectives 1.This course aims at teaching the students to use Decision Support System tools such as Win Prolog, Visi Rule, Flex and also Clementine (Data Mining Tool), and EXCEL Modeling 2.Upon learning the tools, the students would be able to use them to develop a lab project and thus that knowledge and experience can be used to develop final year project during the final semester.

4. Assessment This Lab is allocated 10%. 5% = Weekly lab exercises 10%= Lab Assignment (Group) & Presentation (VisiRule & EXCEL Modeling) Please save your lab work and email to zaihisma@uniten.edu.my before you leave the lab. Your mark will be based on your weekly lab exercises given. (5%) - INDIVIDUAL zaihisma@uniten.edu.my One lab assignment will be given which covers all VISIRULE modules (5%)- GROUP One lab assignment for EXCEL Modeling (5%)

5. Lab Policies Attendance for lab is compulsory. Attendance for less than 80% of the lab will result in students being barred from taking the Final Exam. Dress in proper attire corresponding to Universiti Tenaga Nasional dress code. When the lab sessions starts, you MUST switch off YOUR MONITOR of your workstation. Failure to do so, you will have to LEAVE the lab.

6. Lab Policies Cheating and Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will be penalized accordingly. Late submission of assignments will not be accepted. Always have fun in my lab and do not fail this subject as it is harder to fail this subject than to pass the subject. If you are absent from the lab due to Unfit/Sick – Only Uniten Dispensary MC is allowed. Emergency – letter of guardian is required
