Medicines Inhalers – children should look after their own inhalers (they will have to have them with them on activities) Medicines – if your child needs to be given medication you must complete a ‘Request to administer medication’ form. All medicines must be labelled with name and clear instructions and handed to a member of staff. Travel sickness – please give your child their medication before leaving and remember a tablet for the return journey. Hand to a member of staff in a clearly labelled bag.
43
Arrangements for departure day: Children should arrive in school at 11.00am (we cannot arrive at camp before 2.30pm) They should come to the hall (via the main entrance) where they will be met by staff. Any medicines should be handed to a member of staff (clearly labelled with name and instructions) While the children are taken to the classrooms to be registered, parents will wait in the hall with the luggage. The children will then return to the hall, load their luggage, say goodbye to parents and board the coach. We should leave at approximately 11.30am. All children will need a packed lunch.
44
Returning to school on Friday: We will return to school at approx. 5pm. This is dependent on our leaving on time (we can be delayed a little as the access gets congested) and on the traffic. A text will be sent out on Friday afternoon with an up-to-date arrival time.
