3 DISCUSSION GUIDE 1.What condition was the man from Gerasenes in when Jesus encountered him? (Luke 8:26-29) He was possessed by demons, naked, lived in a cemetery and was very violent.

4 DISCUSSION GUIDE 2.What was the man’s reaction to Jesus? (v. 28) He fell to his knees and recognized Jesus as the Son of God.

5 DISCUSSION GUIDE 3.Even demons recognize who Jesus is. Have you heard of anti- Christian groups who react violently to the cause of Christ? Who?

19 Group Assignment 1.Share an example of a miracle you have experienced or have heard about. 2.When you hear about miracles how do you tend to react? Are you skeptical or accepting? Do you try to prove them away? 3.Why aren’t miracles more discussed in the church today? 4.How can we be more sensitive to the Spirit of God to allow Him to work in and through us?
