2.  George Washington was born in Virginia in 1732 in a farm house  He died in 1797.

3.  He was the first President of the United States.

4. He joined the Virginia army. He was very brave. Soon he was put in charge of many other soldiers.

5. George Washington is often called the father of our country.

6.  In 1792 he was reelected president.

7.  In 1796 he ended his second term as president.

8. He served two terms as President. He helped our country become a great nation!
