3 How do we find the zeros for: Or a higher degree polynomial?

4 For polynomials (including quadratics) we can find roots by dividing polynomials. There are two methods that will be introduced: 1)Long division 2)Synthetic division

5 As you watch the videos, think of these questions: 1)What is really a factor? 2)What does it mean when we have a remainder of 0? 3)What about when it is not 0?

6 NOTES Make a T-chart with Long division on one side and Synthetic Division on the other side. 1.Solve an example from the video using both methods 2.Compare the two.
