In the town........ The streets of the towns were crowded and very filthy smelly because rubbish and poo was left all over the place. In the country...... Full of big open fields A few stones wall but no hedges. Patches of trees and shrubs called shaws. Ninety percent of the people lived by farming.

Poor Tudor houses....... Hole in wall for windows Straw beds for mattress. One room where the whole family lived in. Rich houses.... they had wooden frames and spaces were filled with small stick and wet clay called wattle and daub. And they had glass on the window
