Are You Attractive What do advertisers use to sell their products (cars, etc.): attractive women What do liquor makers use to sell their products: attractive labels Satan uses this approach (Gen. 3:5-6)

Are You Attractive Attraction to the gospel is important (1 Peter 3:1-4) When we have the truth of the gospel, but are not attractive in our Christian living, people will “lose their appetite” for it; just like going to a dirty restaurant

Making Christianity Attractive Good works (Mt. 5:16; 1 Pet. 2:12) – selfish Christianity is not attractive Love (Jn. 13:35) – hateful, spiteful Christianity is not attractive (1 Sam. 18:9; 18:11; 19:4; 20:17)

Making Christianity Attractive Speech (Eph. 2:29; Col. 4:6) – foul- mouthed Christianity is not attractive Unity (Psa. 133:1; Jn. 17:20-21; Ac. 2:47; 4:32) – divisive Christianity is not attractive Peace of mind (Phil. 2:14-15; 4:6-8) – unhappy Christianity is not attractive
